When Lea Lutman walked into POSH Bridal last November, she was hoping at most, to find her dream wedding gown to wear one day when resources allowed. Little did she know that less than three months later she would be given a dream wedding by local professionals who believed in the community and wanted to thank her veteran fiancé for his service! Janell Berte, owner of POSH Bridal and designer of Janell Berte Couture, participated in Brides Across America, a national organization donating bridal gowns to veterans and their spouses as a way to show appreciation for their service. Lea signed up to visit POSH during the event last November. Her fiancé, Ryan Sexton, had served in the Army for four years of active duty, including two tours in Iraq. While at the salon, Janell learned that Lea and Ryan, along with their 2 year old daughter, Rylee, were without jobs or home. Janell said to her staff, “we have to do more than just a wedding dress!” And sprung into action calling local professionals in the wedding industry. Not one person turned down the chance to do something for this dear family. The wedding day turned out to be a wonderful success for everyone involved, especially for the bride and groom! Janell Berte and the staff at POSH Bridal would like to say a HUGE thank you to the following participants for making Ryan and Lea’s wedding day a beautiful success!
